Just got off the phone with Chaplain Phillip Griffin. He says that their event coordinator is busy planning a "Dinner and Movie Date Night" for Valentine's Day on the base. They are going to make it an especially nice dinner and even provide free childcare! He says they will be subsidizing the event so that even the Jr. Enlisted can attend. The goal is to have 50 couples and so far, they have over 40!

ReplyDeleteJust wondering what you thought of Chaplain Griffin while at Eielson AFB. I realize that is a little while ago, but he is being considered as a pastor for our church since being discharged from the Air Force. - Lori
